"Austin M. Foster has recently sold his house on Maple Street to Robert B. Holmes and purchased a lot of C. G. Peck on the same street. He has broken ground for a cellar and will put up a two story, hip-roofed house as soon as the foundation is ready. Curtis R. Foster has also purchased a lot of C. G. Peck adjoining that of Austin's and intends to build a house in the fall similar in design to his brother's." Ellsworth American, June 21, 1883
